Indian Takeaway Delivery and Packaging
Packaging and Delivery Charges
Indian takeaway delivery in 100% recyclable packaging? You bet it is! At Praveen Kumar we care about the planet as much as we care about our customers, which is why all of our Indian takeaway delivery dishes are packaged using 100% recyclable materials.
How do you package my order?
Your Indian takeaway delivery order is received by our team, and our chefs spring into action – cooking all our dishes by hand, before individually portioning them and blast-freezing to lock in all the flavours. For Indian takeaway delivery like nothing you’ve ever experienced!
We then package your order in our innovative fully recyclable refrigerated boxes, that use Dry Ice to keep your order cool during shipping. Dry Ice is harmless and non-toxic, and we include information on how to dispose of it with every order. We use 100% recyclable cardboard boxes to reduce our environmental impact.
Who delivers my order?
Your order is then shipped by one of our trusted delivery partners. For most deliveries to the UK Mainland, we use DPD Next Day 24hr Delivery. You’ll get an email from DPD to confirm that they have collected your parcel, and an estimated time of delivery. Don’t worry – you don’t have to be in the house, as all our drivers have instructions to leave it in a safe space if no-one is home. Our packaging ensures that all your food remains frozen for 36 hours after leaving our kitchens – plenty of time for you to bring it inside when you get home from work, and unpack into your freezer.
How much is delivery?
For shipping, our charges are based on your order value after discounts have been applied.
